Data were analysed using the Simple Regression Analysis. Findings revealed that job security remained an essential motivational tool in improving employees’ performance, loyalty and discipline. It was revealed that job security influences employee satisfaction and reduces voluntary labour turnover in organization. Job security fosters mutual beneficial relationships between management and employees in an organization and reduces conflict in an organization. It was recommended that job security should be part of organization objectives in an attempt to enhance employee performances, job satisfaction, and management - employee relations. Termination of appointment must be based on “just cause” (justified dismissal) – incapability, misconduct or redundancy. Management should ensure that employees’ commitment is made paramount. Employment status should be permanent employment instead of casual or non-standard employment to encourage workers put in their best.
